Meet Olivia from Irvine, CA.
The one word that best describes Olivia's life today is "Carefree." She chose Carefree because she doesn't have school for the summer which leaves plenty time to spend at the beach. Olivia will be a Sophomore at SDSU. If Olivia could change one thing in the world, she would "Want clean water for everyone in the world." The way she would go about making this change would be to travel to countries that do not have clean water and help to dig wells. She would also donate to foundations like Charity Water. One year from today, Olivia would like to have a very good job in the hotel industry. If Olivia's life were a movie, it would be about entering into adulthood and the ups and downs she faces as she works towards doing well in college and looks for a good job. The title of her movie would be called "It's Not Always A Walk On The Beach." I met Olivia and her friend Gabby as they were sitting on the beach eating their Banzai Bowls. I had just finished paddling on my SUP and had my Go Pro on my board and was dripping wet but I thought to seize the moment and capture their story. I started with Gabby, but she opted out and Olivia stepped in and answered the questions. Both girls seemed like they were living a carefree life as they enjoyed their Acai Bowls on a warm, windy, empty afternoon on the beach. Both girls were very friendly and had fun with the questions. They shared with me that they love coming down to Laguna Beach and Oak St. was one of their favorite hang outs. Enjoy the rest of your summer girls and embrace the carefree timelessness!
