Meet Kristin from Tempe, AZ.
The one word that best describes Kristin's life today is "Unexpected."
If Kristin could change one thing in the world, she would "get involved with helping homeless children find food and shelter." The way she would go about making this change is to work with homeless children in her own neighborhood.
One year from today, Kristin would like for her goals to be clarified while attending community college and pursuing her passion as a ceramic artist.
If Kristin's life were a movie, it would be about the struggles of the past three years and how she has had to grow up instantly after losing her mother. The title of her movie would be called "Unexpected Growing Up Fast."
We met Kristin and her friend Taylor as they were sitting on the beach celebrating the memory of her mother with flowers. Kristin's mother passed away two years ago.
Kristin has a compassionate heart and would like to teach people to work with ceramics as a form of therapy. She shared with us how her mother was by her side during high school and after she passed away, Kristin had to grow up fast and figure things out on her own.
Our heart goes out to Kristin and others who have lost their mothers.
Thank you Kristin for allowing us to share this small part of your story with our community.
