Meet Barbara from Claremont, CA.
The one word that best describes Barbara's life today is "Interesting."
If Barbara could change one thing in the world, she would "want to help make the last days of life to be comfortable." The way Barbara would go about making this change as a hospice nurse, is to care for one person at a time and help make their last days as comfortable as possible.
One year from today, Barbara would like to travel to Sicily Italy.
If Barbara's life were a movie, it would be about the many changes in her life, the cultural experiences near and far and the full life she has lived. The title of her movie would be called "She Lived A Full Life" and the subtitle would be called "The Tapestry of Life."
I met Barbara and her friends as they were celebrating her 75th birthday. Barbara is a compassionate woman who places a high value on relationships.
Barbara is keeping up with the changes and bought her first iPhone for her birthday. In addition to her new iPhone, Barbara is going zip lining for her birthday.
She is embracing all the interesting people and places and is evolving as she listens and learns from others. There is so much more of Barbara's story that I wish I could have heard, we'll save it for another time.
Thanks Barbara for sharing a small slice of your story. Happy Birthday!
