Meet Chris and Grace from San Francisco, CA.
The one word that best describes Chris' life today is "Fulfilled."
The one word that best describes Grace's life today is "Grateful."
If Chris could change one thing in the world, he would "change the education system and increase the pay for teachers." The way Chris would go about making this change would be to create a system where the best educators are being paid what they are worth.
If Grace could change one thing in the world, she would "end world hunger and provide clean water." The way she would go about making this change would be to identify the greatest needs in the world and shift resources to them. At the same time, educate and inform people how they can be part of the solution.
One year from today Chris and Grace would like to have moved our of the city to Marin County.
If Chris and Grace's life were a movie it would be about the highs and lows of life, the ups and downs and the many experiences they will have with each other and their family. The title of their movie would be called "Oh The Places You'll Go."
I met Chris and Grace as the sun was setting and they were enjoying a weekend getaway here in Laguna. They were great conversationalists and we dove deep on a couple questions and could have spent all night talking about how we were going to change the world.
Ultimately, we resolved and agreed that the most important things in life are our relationships. Everything else comes and goes but committed and connected relationships are the key to a fulfilled and meaningful life.
I walked away from my time with Chris and Grace filled with hope for our generation who truly care about each other and the world we live in.
Thanks Chris and Grace for sharing your time and your story.
