Day 171 of 365 "The Goofy Life Of Sheila And Asher"

Meet Porter from Laguna Beach, CA and Sarah from Irivine, CA.

The one word that best describes Porter's life is "Beautiful."
The one word that best describes Sarah's life is "Happy."

If Porter could change one thing in the world, he would "Increase ocean safety."  The way he would go about doing this would be to educate and inform beach goers especially the tourists that visit the beaches.  Porter is a Laguna Beach lifeguard.
If Sarah could change one thing in the world, she would "Change the way we objectify women and young girls."  The way she would make this change would be to understand the culture and share what she is learning with others.

One year from today Porter will have graduated from CSULB and Sarah will have graduated from CSUF.

If Porter and Sarah's lives were a movie, it would be about their alter ego's Sheila and Asher, from Australia living a goofy life of feeding ducks, walking trails and getting lost, playing with their cats "Mr. Chubbs" and "Fats Kitty", and piggy back rides on their SUP.  The title of their movie would be called "The Goofy Life of Sheila and Asher."

We met Porter aka Asher and Sarah aka Sheila while we were sitting on the main beach boardwalk watching the sunset.

Our conversation was insightful and intriguing.  Porter and Sarah are very bright college students who know how to have fun, at the same time they are aware of current and cultural affairs.

I'm confident Porter and Sarah will make a significant difference in the world.  After the few minutes I spent with them, I was encouraged and inspired to continue meeting one new person a day and hearing their stories.
