Meet Joe from Irvine, CA.
The one word that best describes Joe's life today is, "Bliss."
If Joe could change one thing in the world, he would "End world hunger." The way Joe would go about making this change would be to give food to homeless people when he see's them.
One year from today, Joe would like to be an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician).
If Joe's life were a movie, it would be about his passion and desire to help others under pressure situations. This would be contrasted with having fun with his family and friends. The title of Joe's movie would be called "Living Life On The Edge."
I met Joe and his friends while they were skim boarding at Oak St. Joe is a super cool kid and is always smiling.
Joe has parked his car in front of our house on numerous occasions and is very respectful, unlike other kids his age who do not ask if it's alright to park there.
Too often we form opinions about people before we get to know them. For instance, I thought Joe was 13 or 14 years old, not a senior in high school. And he doesn't strike me as a kid who would be an EMT in training.
I'm reminded everyday, there's always more to the story so ask questions before forming opinions. And for the most part, everyone has an interesting story to tell.
Joe you are one cool cat, I hope you stay that way.
