Meet Carlos from Brea, CA by way of Portugal.
The one word that best describes Carlos' life today is "Blessed."
If Carlos could change one thing in the world, "he would end world hunger." His plan to do this is to feed those who are hungry in his own backyard.
One year from now Carlos would be happy, healthy and continuing to live the wonderful life he is living today having fun with his family and friends as he was doing today on his boat. The way he will accomplish this is to share his life with family and friends.
If Carlos' life was a movie it would be about the "Wonderful Life" he is living having fun with his family and friends.
I met Carlos this afternoon while I was riding my SUP past his boat when he offered me a cold beverage. Carlos was enjoying a beautiful Saturday afternoon with his bride Theresa and his sister in law Isabel and his brother in law Carlos. Their boat was anchored off Emerald Bay as they had the BBQ fired up with carne asada.
They had shared with me that last year was a difficult year losing family members and they were thankful for each other and for the opportunity spend time together enjoying the beauty of Emerald Bay.
After 20 minutes with these amazing people, they welcomed me to their family and we agreed to meet up again one year from now as Carlos and his family and friends are living a "Wonderful Life."
