Meet Ryan from Aliso Viejo, CA.
The one word that best describes Ryan's life today is "Blessed." The reason why Ryan chose this word is because he is fortunate to come surfing after school with his friends.
If Ryan could change one thing in the world, he would "Want for people to treat each other with kindness and share the love." The way he would go about making this is to love others and be kind to them.
One year from today, Ryan would like to get his drivers license.
If Ryan's life were a movie, it would be about a day in his life hanging out with his friends, doing whatever they want to such as surfing, body surfing, mt. bike riding or just hanging out. The title of his movie would be called "Whatever."
I met Ryan at Thalia St. after he surfed for 2 hours and was waiting for his friend to get out of the water.
Ryan is a sophomore in high school and decided to get a surf in before he dove into his homework. He loves coming to Laguna to play in the surf or ride the trails on his mt. bike. Ryan shared with me that he walked from Aliso Viejo to Laguna which took several hours, that's dedication to getting in the water.
This afternoon was another warm summer-like day. The water is still a warm 70 degrees and the ocean surface is like a sheet of glass. Ryan is taking in these perfect conditions before winter kicks in. Even though the waves were small, he still had fun and was smiling from ear to ear.
