Meet Ray from Balboa Island, CA.
The one word that best describes Ray's life today is "Bitchin'."
If Ray could change one thing in the world, he would "want people in the U.S. to wake up and realize how fortunate they are to be living a beautiful life." He shared his perspective, "there are millions of people around the world who are less fortunate than us and yet they are full of joy."
One year from today, Ray would like to compete in a channel swim in Santa Barbara or Catalina.
If Ray's life were a movie it would be about his life as an ironman and the beautiful life he lives. The title of his movie would be called "It's A Beautiful Life."
I met Ray while he was parking in front of my house and walking down to the beach to swim with the Oak St. swimmers.
Ray is full of joy and happiness. He always has a smile on his face and will offer up a nice encouraging word. Ray is a triathlete and has competed in Ironman events around the world. His favorite event is in France in the French Riviera.
Ray's positive and optimistic attitude is refreshing!
Thanks Ray for spreading the love in LB.
