Meet Neil from Laguna Beach, CA. The one word that best describes Neil's life today is "Contrast." He chose this word because he spent the morning in the hot, concrete jungle of L.A. and the afternoon on the cool coastal community of Laguna Beach. If Neil could change one thing in the world, he would "want everyone to be treated with respect." The way he would go about making this change is to begin with himself. One year from today, Neil would like to surf/SUP everyday. He is on track to achieve this goal. If Neil's life were a movie, it would be about his life as an art dealer. The title of his movie would be called "Midnight in Paris." The storyline of Neil's movie would be about his relationships with world famous artists Chagall, Picasso and Rembrandt. I met Neil as he was parking in front of our house and on his way down to the beach. Neil is part of the local crew who regularly SUP at Oak St. Until today, I didn't know Neil was an art dealer. His company Galerie Moderne's mission is devoted to promoting the education, appreciation, and participation of the visual arts by hosting art in public spaces such as The Ritz Carlton, St. Regis and Hyatt hotels. Neil is a great example of the "New Creatives" who are following their passion and thinking outside the box of the traditional brick and mortar art galleries. If you appreciate fine art and would like to enrich your function or event with a private exhibition of world famous artists, check out Galerie Moderne's collection.
