Meet Jake from Lake Forest, CA.
The one word that best describes Jake's life today is "Tired." Jake chose this word because he just finished finals for his junior year of college at CSULB.
If Jake could change one thing in the world, he would "want people to increase their self awareness." The way Jake would go about making this change would be to spread Dharma.
One year from today, Jake would like to publish his first novel.
If Jake's life were a movie, it would be about his life as a writer who travels the world finding Dharma. The title of his movie would be called "Finding The Dharma."
I met Jake and his lifelong friend since kindergarten, Jordan as they were sitting on the beach drinking beers with their notebooks wide open. They caught my eye as I was thinking they embody the Laguna Beach Lifestyle.
Jake was reluctant to participate in answering my questions but with a lot of prodding from Jordan, he obliged me and engaged in the conversation. I think it was because his "Tired" brain didn't want to have think about anything other than sitting on the beach.
Nevertheless, I learned a few things about Jake's adventurous, spontaneous and spiritual life. My impression of Jake is that he is a deep thinker who is very contemplative. Jordan was bragging on his friend and told me about how Jake randomly jumped on a plane by himself to visit "Machu Picchu" Peru.
Thank you Jordan for encouraging your bro to share his story and thanks Jake for allowing me to document this day in your life.
