Meet 81 year old Paul, from Laguna Woods, CA.
The one word that best describes Paul's life today is "Terrific." If Paul could change one thing in the world, he would "advocate more creativity no matter your age." Paul began creating art at the age of 50. The way Paul would go about making this change would be to create more work with clay, bronze and ceramics. One year from today, Paul would like to be conducting ideas that inspire young people to create three dimensional art. If Paul's life were a movie, it would be about his life as an artist, a teacher and a lifelong learner. The title of his movie would be called "Be Kind." We met Paul during art walk as he was checking out artist Randy Morgan's "Hawaiian Legend" sculptors at Chase Bank. Paul is an artist who is compassionate and passionate about people and art. He began his artist journey later in life and feels your never to old to begin creating art. Paul loves three dimensional art and working with clay, bronze and ceramics. Paul was with his friend Jeanine who is the publisher of Laguna Beach Art Magazine. They had recently met for the first time and learned they went to the same high school 50 years apart. I look forward to art walk every month because I know I'll meet amazing artists young and old who are connected to our coastal community.
