Meet Heather, originally from Utah now living Laguna Beach, CA.
The one word that best describes Heather's life today is "Complete." She chose this word because even though nothing in life is never complete, her life is filled with family, love and unity. If Heather could change one thing in the world, she would "Want people to be less ignorant and increase their awareness and become more knowledgeable. She would want people to be more open minded and accept their differences." The way Heather would go about making this change is to lead by example. One year from today, Heather would like for her beach towels to be sold at Barney's. If Heather's life were a movie, it would be about her journey of survival and a woman who has worked hard and persevered as a wife, mother and entrepreneur. The title of her movie would be called "Survival" and the subtitle would be called "Family, Love, Unity." I met Heather at the Koffee Klatch for an interview she was writing for Laguna Beach Magazine about our new business Vizual Living. I was excited to share our story with Heather but I felt more comfortable flipping the interview and asking her questions. Heather's story is fascinating and if it were a book , it would be a best seller. She always was a California girl at heart and pretty much wanted to surf since she was a little girl and was fascinated by the sport on bi-annual family trips to Southern California. Heather is a mother of three boys who are well known and well liked in Laguna. Heather is an entrepreneur at heart who is also a talented, gifted writer. She has a women's swimwear line called Pearl. "Pearl Swimwear is a Laguna Beach based swimwear company created to bring mod and modest together with a dash of sass without all the skin." When Heather is not writing or designing, you can find her chasing her wild and wonderful boys, surfing, paddling her SUP or walking on the beach. Thanks Heather for capturing my story and allowing me to put the spotlight on you.
