Meet Baylee and her friends Kylee and Natalie who are all Seniors at Tesoro High School in Las Flores, CA. The one word that best describes Baylee's life today is "Blessed." She chose this word because she is able to always find something good, even when things are not going her way. If Baylee could change one thing in the world, she would "Help find homes for abandoned children." The way she would go about making this change, is to build shelters for these kids. One year from today, Baylee would like to travel to Africa and look for a child to adopt. If Baylee's life were a movie, it would be about growing up experiencing different cultures and the challenges she faced as a young girl, yet finding something good. The title of her movie would be called "Love God And Do Stuff." I met Baylee, Kylee and Natalie on the Oak St. lookout deck as they were eating their Banzai Bowls. I learned that it was Baylee's 18th birthday today and all three of the girls will be graduating from Tesoro High School on Thursday. Baylee is a compassionate young lady who would like to travel the world and help others. I thought it was extraordinary that she would like to adopt an African child at such an early age. I'm quite certain Baylee will live a life of significance. Happy Birthday Baylee and thank you for sharing a small part of your story with our community.
