Meet Anessa from Santa Ana, CA.
The one word that best describes Anessa's life today is "Awesome."
If Anessa could change one thing in the world, she would "Want people to be smarter." The way she would go about making this change would be to teach not so smart people to be smarter.
One year from today, Anessa would like to be playing basketball for her school.
If Anessa's life were a movie it would be about being "Swaggy" and teaching people to be "Swaggy." The title of her movie would be called "Swaggy 101."
I met Anessa and her friends as they were burying her at Oak St. She was having a blast, as you can see by the huge smile on her face.
Anessa's friends were celebrating their 8th grade promotion and were sure to let me know they are now high schooler's.
I asked Anessa to describe what it means to be "Swaggy" and she said "being me." I've got a feeling that it means being yourself and finding your unique style.
Swagg on Anessa!
