Day 173 of 365 "Eternity"
Meet Brent, originally from L.A., CA now living in Laguna Beach since 2000.
The one word that best describes Brent's life today is "Barreled." Brent is a body surfer and spends a lot of time in the barrel.
If Brent could change one thing in the world, he would "Want people to be more understanding and tolerant of each other." The way he would go about making this change would be to educate himself and others.
One year from today, Brent would like to be doing what he is doing today, body surfing and spending time in the barrel.
If Brent's life were a movie it would be about being in the moment and living each day to the fullest. The storyline of Brent's movie would be about his emotional and empathetic connection to the stories of people who have had similar experiences. The title of Brent's movie would be called "Eternity" and the subtitle would be called "Swimming Hard."
Brent sat down next to me today while I was on the beach reading. I originally met Brent through a mutual friend, Chuck whom I call the ambassador of Laguna Beach. Brent and Chuck are good friends and share a love of the ocean and body surfing.
Brent and I share a love of storytelling through video. He has a lot of videos on YouTube and a really cool concept called "Today's Walk", you can check them out here.
You can find Brent walking around town with his video camera or in the ocean body surfing in the barrel. I love Brent's outlook on life which is to make each day count and be remembered for being a joyful person.
Thanks Brent for sharing your story and a little joy today!
