Day 180 of 365 "On Guard"

Meet Dane from Laguna Beach, CA.

The one word that best describes Dane's life today is "Lucky."

If Dane could change one thing in the world, he would "Bring greater awareness to the power and availability of education."  The way he would go about making this change, would be to finish college and communicate whenever possible the benefits of education.

One year from today, Dane would like to continue getting good grades in college.

If Dane's life were a movie, it would be about his process oriented mind contrasted with his free spirited attitude and his desire to travel the world.  The title of Dane's movie would be called "On Guard."

I met Dane this morning before the crowds showed up.  Our conversation took place in between Dane directing ocean traffic and offering directions to a tourist lady who was asking a lot of questions.

Dane is a deep thinker and took his sweet time answering my questions.  After a few minutes, I learned that Dane is studying to be an engineer which explains his calculated answers.

I found out from Dane that there are 27 lifeguard towers in Laguna Beach.  I think it would be cool to visit all 27 towers and interview the lifeguard on duty.  So, the Oak St. Tower is #1 of 27, we'll see if I'll be able to get to all of them before the end of summer.
