Meet Larry from Laguna Beach, CA.
The one word that best describes Larry's life today is "Lucky."
If Larry could change one thing in the world, he would "Put an end to alcoholism." The way he would go about making this change would be to pour all the alcohol down the drain.
One year from today, Larry would like to have traveled down to Mexico in search of the 55 gallon barrels of "enlightenment" and bring them home.
If Larry's life were a movie, it would be about his life of treasure hunting for coins on then living far away in the desert with his girlfriend and their adopted critters. The title of Larry's movie would be called "Enlightenment."
I met Larry this morning as he walked down the Las Brisas stairs onto the beach with a green bag of goodies in his hand.
Larry is a Laguna Beach Ol' Timer with great stories. He was telling me about all the buried coins that have been found and are still buried here in Laguna Beach.
I learned that Larry has a love of critters, mostly reptiles. He has had many encounters with these critters while in remote places in the desert. I would be surprised if his snake skin cowboy boots were from one of them critters he befriended.
Larry has been clean and sober for 2 years and hopes to remain on this path, I'll be cheering him on from the sidelines.
