Meet Sean from Ladera Ranch, CA.
The one word that best describes Sean's life is "Re-Creation."
If Sean could change one thing in the world, he would "Want people to have hope and to know that God is a God of second chances and anything is possible with Him." The way Sean will go about making this change is to live his life everyday with purpose.
One year from today, Sean would like to have experienced "Renewal, Restoration and Reconciliation."
If Sean's life were a movie, it would be about walking in God's promises and coming back stronger than ever before. The title of his movie would be called "Titanium" and the subtitle would be called "Coming Back Stronger."
I met Sean this afternoon while surfing at San Onofre. We were in the lineup waiting for waves and I heard this guy say "my name is Sean." I wasn't sure who he was talking to because I had never met him and in my experience, most surfers don't introduce themselves in the water.
After I realized Sean was talking to me and seemed genuinely interested in hearing my story, we traded waves and shared stories. I've been surfing since the age of 5 and I've never met another surfer as friendly and fully alive as Sean.
I thought to myself, there is something special about Sean and I wanted find out what it was, so I asked him to be my one person for today.
We talked about how life is full of intersections where certain people are meant to meet. It's no coincidence that Sean and I met. After our conversation, we were both overflowing with excitement and anticipation of what God will be doing in the days ahead.
Today was meant to be and our lives intersected for such a time as this!
