Day 218 of 365 "Keepin' It Real"

Meet Nick from Belmont Shores, CA.

The one word that best describes Nick's life today is "Content."  Nick chose this word because he is enjoying the life he is living.

If Nick could change one thing in the world, he would "Want people not to take themselves so seriously."  The way he would like to go about making this change would be to help them engage in healthy conflict.

One year from today, Nick would like to leave his current job for a new job using his business degree.

If Nick's life were a movie, it would be about the transformation that takes place from living a good life, engaging in learning and developing healthy relationships.  The title of his movie would be called "Keepin' It Real."

Nick and I met through my son Joshua and today we surfed Trestles while sharing waves and our stories. Surfing has a way of bringing people together and today was one of those days where I was able to spend time getting to know Nick.

Nick is a sharp, sensitive and authentic young man.  He is the kind of guy you can "keep it real" with and leave behind any presuppositions are posturing to be someone other than yourself.

Our conversation was stimulating and inspiring!  NIck is ambitious and has a bright future ahead of him.  I can see why my son speaks so highly of Nick.  Thanks for a great day Nick!
