Day 220 of 365 "Durgin 3"

Meet Kyle from New Bedford, MA.

The one word that best describes Kyle's life today is "Bliss."  The reason he chose this word is because his vacation in So Cal this week has been relaxing and calming.

If Kyle could change one thing in the world, he would "Find a way to work less and play more."  The way he would go about making this change would be to continue working hard.

One year from today, Kyle would like to be living in So Cal going to Long Beach State College studying to become a physical therapist.

If Kyle's life were a movie, it would be about his journey through his Freshman year of college with his buddies and the title of his movie would be called "Durgin 3."

I met Kyle today through his father Tim Blanchard who was an original investor and sales rep for my company Maui Life Island wear.

Kyle and his father Tim are enjoying their summer vacation in So Cal as they are visiting old friends and checking out Tim's old stomping grounds when he lived in Huntington Beach over 20 year ago.  Today, I took them surfing at Doheny where the surf was a lot of fun!

I learned that Kyle loves the laid back lifestyle of California.  Kyle has been meeting his fathers friends who all live in coastal communities and spend a lot of time in the water.  His perception is that we all go to the beach every day....I can see why he wants to move here!

Kyle is a bright young man who works hard in school and his two jobs.  He is entering into his Sophomore year with very good grades and hopes to transfer to Long Beach State next year.  I think Kyle would fit in just fine in So Cal. 

I hope to see you out here next year Kyle and catch some more waves together!
