Day 237 of 365 "Ala Lee's...Existential Crisis"

Meet Ala from Austin, TX.

The one word that best describes Ala's life today is "Friendship."

If Ala could change one thing in the world, she would "Bring more laughter into the world."  The way she would go about making this change is to become a comic and make people laugh.

One year from today, Ala would like to create an original piece of street art.

If Ala's life were a movie, it would be about her playing a wide variety of characters showcasing their persona's across all genres.  The title of her movie would be a play on Tyler Perry's movie's "Ala Lee's...Existential Crisis.
I met Ala and her friends as they were walking along the beach at sunset.  Ala is visiting from Austin Texas and is taking in the beauty of Laguna Beach for a couple days.

Ala is a creative person with a sense of humor.  During our conversation, Ala was laughing quite a bit while her friends were laughing alongside her.  Laughter is a universal language and can bring people together in a unique way.

I learned about Ala's desire to create street art and yet her reluctance to put her work on display.  Like many creatives, we feel vulnerable when we put ourselves out there for all the world to see. 

I shared with Ala my experience of meeting one new person a day and how it was difficult to do at first, but 237 days later, I've become more confident and look forward to meeting new people and sharing their stories. 

I encouraged Ala to be bold and courageous to create her art and trust that it will fulfill her passion as an artist.  I hope to see Ala's street art soon.  Live out your passion and purpose Ala and create art!
