Day 240 of 365 "The Man Who Would Be Steve McQueen"

Meet Paul from Laguna Beach, CA.

The one word that best describes Paul's life today is "Full."

If Paul could change one thing in the world, he would "Want people to become more educated."  The way he will go about making this change with his own children.

One year from today, Paul would like to improve his marriage and help his son overcome his fears.

If Paul's life were a movie, it would be about a man who places a high value on his family, education and working hard.  It would be about being content and slowing down long enough to smell the roses of  life.  The title of Paul's movie would be called "The Man Who Would Be Steve McQueen."

The reason Paul chose this title for his movie is because what he knows about Steve McQueen is that he was a man who lived a full life.

We met Paul on the beach at Oak St. where we have seen him on occasion sitting next to us.  Our conversation today revolved around our children and the upcoming school year.

As we dove into the Q & A of our one person for today, I showed Paul a copy of the article in Laguna Beach Magazine featuring Vizual Living 365 and coincidentally, Paul flipped the pages to show me the article about his home on Brooks St., such a small world we live in.

Paul is a type A personality who is always looking for that next mountain to climb.  He shared openly his challenge of being present and being still.  Paul's active mind drives him to continually set and achieve new goals which I can relate to as I'm very much the same way.

I'm sure our paths will cross quite often since we live one street away from each other and our kids go to the same high school.  Keep climbing those mountains Paul and be sure to stop and smell the roses along the way.
