Day 258 of 365 "Life Lessons On Wheels"

Meet Dmitriy fro Ukraine now living in Chicago.

The one word that best describes Dmitiry's life today is Busy. 

If Dmitriy could change one thing in the world, he would improve the quality of education and make it available to anyone and everyone.  The way Dmitriy would make this change would be to focus time, money and energy towards this change.

One year from today, Dmitriy would like to be working his dream job producing music.

If Dmitriy's life were a movie, it would be an action packed comedy traveling the world in his car collection while changing the educational system.

The title of Dmitriy's life would be called "Life Lessons On Wheels."

I met Dmitriy while giving him a SUP lesson on a day when the waves were very big.  We packed the boards on my car and drove to Divers Cove where it was a little easier getting through the waves.

I was concerned about taking Dmitriy on a SUP today because of the big waves, but I learned he has experience surfing and is comfortable in the ocean.  We had no problem launching his SUP through the waves and once we made it out beyond where the waves were breaking, it was spectacular!

The ocean was smooth as glass and so clear we could see for ever!  We explored all the surf spots along the coast and had a great conversation along the way.  Today was a special day and was as good as it gets.  I'll remember this day for a long time.

I was stoked to be able to share such an amazing day with Dmitriy and introduce him to our ocean playground.
