Meet Celia from Barcelona, Spain.
The one word that best describes Celia's life today is "Random." The reason Celia chose this word is because she likes things to happen by chance. If Celia could change one thing in the world, she would put an end to power boats because they are annoying, dangerous and pollute the ocean. The way she would go about making this change is to inform people and make her voice heard. One year from today, Celia would like to travel back to the U.S. and spend a couple years living here. If Celia's life were a movie, it would be about her traveling adventures meeting new people and experiencing random encounters. The title of her movie would be called "I Figured It Out." I met Celia this morning while taking her for her first SUP lesson from SUP Co. Ceila has been traveling solo along the West Coast experiencing new places and meeting new people. Today was the first time she has been on a stand up paddle board and even though the conditions were rough, she did awesome! I shared with Celia my love for Spain and my journey on the Camino de Santiago which her mother has walked for three weeks. I learned from Celia that she is a freelance multimedia designer working with digital media editing content for businesses in Spain. Celia is a very optimistic person and has learned how to deal with life's ups and downs, she has a saying "we'll figure it out." Like myself, Celia is a planner and likes for things to work out the way she wants them to, but over the years she has realized that's not always the case. I believe we can learn something from Celia when things go wrong and "we can just figure it out."
