Meet Troop from Austin, TX.
The one word that best describes Troop's life today is "Good."
If Troop could change one thing in the world, he would "Promote clean water." The way he would go about making this change would be to build infrastructure that would produce wells around the world.
One year from today, Troop would like for his band "Speak" to headline at a major venue in Austin.
If Troop's life were a movie, it would be a long movie over 1,000 hours of his life and travels going from boyhood to manhood. The title of his movie would be called "A Good Life."
I met Troop at the airport in Austin Texas as we were curbside waiting for our rides to pick us up. Troop is returning home after being on the road with his band, while I am in Austin for my brothers wedding.
Troop is a laid back young man who was willing to share his story with this stranger. This was my first trip to Austin and I've heard nothing but great things about friendly the people are, Troop confirmed this.
He answered my questions with such ease and hesitation. Most people wrestle with the questions and have a difficult time answering them. Not Troop. His responses to my questions flowed so quickly and naturally, I was impressed and wanted to learn more about his life and his band.
I looked up Troop on Google and learned that he is the lead singer of an indie rock band who won the Austin Music Award for Best New Band 2010. That same year, they played in the well known music festival "Austin City Limits."
I can't wait to see Troop make it big with his band Speak. You've got a new fan Troop!
