Day 288 of 365 "Lesson Learned"

Meet Daniel from Laguna Beach, CA.

The one word that best describes Daniel's day today is "Blessed."  Daniel chose this word because he has what he needs and always gets what he wants."

If Daniel could change one thing in the world, he would "Want people to be open to the conversation about sexuality."  The way he would go about making this change is to teach others from his own experiences to help others.

One year from today, Daniel would like to have one of his shows on television or radio.

If Daniel's life were a movie, it would be about a young boy who goes out into the world and gets into trouble and hits rock bottom yet finds his way back up to the top.

I met Daniel today on my mt. bike ride as I was checking out the surf at Rock Pile and then saw him out of the corner of my eye filming himself on the classic Flip Camera.  Because I am a curious person, I asked Daniel what he was filming.

Daniel was capturing footage for his You Tube channel.  Today, he was promoting the
16th Annual Laguna Beach Plein Air Painting Invitational.  You can check out Daniel's coverage of this event on Twitter and Instagram.

Daniel is full of life and has a passion to help other people "put it together."  He has a podcast dedicated to helping people work through their challenges and difficulties and put their life together.  I appreciate Daniel's transparency as he shared some of the struggles he has had in his life. 

There is something special about Daniel and his ability to connect and relate with others.   I believe it's his willingness to be vulnerable and meet people right where they're at.  I'm sure if we had more time, we could've had a long interesting conversation.
