Meet Joey from Missouri and Rachel from Costa Mesa, CA.
The one word that best describes Joey and Rachel's life today is "Blessed." The reason they chose this word is because they are enjoying a romantic weekend together.
If Joey and Rachel could change one thing in the world, they would "Move across the country and live in the same city." The way they would go about making this change is for Joey to leave his job in Missouri and find a new job in California.
One year from today, Joey and Rachel would like to be together in California.
If Joey and Rachel's life were a movie, it would be about a long distance romance that persevered and blossomed into a lifelong relationship. The title of their movie would be called "Together At Last."
I met Joey and Rachel as they were walking along the beach holding hands with huge smiles on their faces. They looked like they were so in love and taking in the beauty of the sunset and each other.
When I saw Joey and Rachel from a distance, I knew I had to meet them and hear their story. I learned that Joey flew into town for the weekend to be with his girlfriend Rachel who is going to school in California. Knowing they had limited time together, I made sure to keep our conversation short and sweet.
This was the first time I've met a couple who answer the questions exactly the same! Young love is so sweet.
On my journey of meeting one new person a day, I know I'm not supposed to play favorites but I must say this photograph is one of my favorites. I guess it's the romantic in me that relates to being so in love and blessed to have a beautiful woman by my side.
Thanks Joey and Rachel for slowing down and sharing your story. Keep your love alive!
