Meet Gino from Mission Viejo, CA.
The one word that best describes Gino's life today is "Searching." The reason Gino chose this word is because he is on a road of discovering his major in college.
If Gino could change one thing in the world, he would "Reduce use of fossil fuels." The way he would go about making this change is to create awareness.
One year from today, Gino would like to have made a decision about declaring his major.
If Gino's life were a movie, it would be about the ups and downs of pursuing where he wants to go and how he will get there. The title of his movie would be called "The Adventure."
I originally met Gino while he was working at SUP Co in Laguna Beach. We met again today when Gino was being interviewed for a position with Vizual Living.
I enjoyed my conversation with Gino and learned that he was on a path to play professional soccer and had the talent to play baseball at a pretty high level. He shared with me his experience with coaches who help shape him into the man that he is today.
Gino has a rich heritage as a first generation Italian. His father migrated to the U.S. with his large family when he was only 13 years old. The DiVincenzo gatherings are your traditional Italian celebrations! Gino is fortunate to have a large family who love being together and support one another.
Our time together was inspiring and insightful. I am drawn to the younger generation because of their passion and desire to make a difference in the world. Yes, there are the stereotypes who have a sense of entitlement, but Gino certainly doesn't fall into this category.
I'm hoping to see Gino around more often and draw out the thoughts and ideas of this 20 year old next generation leader.
