Day 30 of 365 "Beach Bob"

Meet Bob from Laguna Beach.

The one word that best describes Bob's life today is "Relaxed."

If Bob could change one thing in the world he would "Instill more compassion and care in others." The way he would go about this would be to educate them.

One year from today, Bob would like to become a world traveler with his wife, starting in Alaska.

If Bob's life were a movie it would be about his life as a teacher.  Bob taught English and Journalism.

We met Bob at the Heisler Park tide pools at lunch today as the rain began to fall on us.  Bob is one of the many Laguna Beach volunteers who educate and inform people who visit the tide pools. 

Professor Bob taught us something new today,  you are allowed to touch the wildlife but not allowed to pick them up.  And if you didn't already know this, you are never never never allowed to remove, shells, rocks or sea life from the tide pools. 

I confessed to Bob that I'm guilty of removing shells and cool looking rocks but I committed to not doing it again, especially hearing there is a $1,000 fine.

Next time your at the Heisler Park Tide Pools look for Bob, he is one of the nicest person you'll ever meet!
