Meet Tatum from Laguna Beach, CA.
The one word that best describes Tatum's life is "Content." She chose this word because she feels at ease.
If Tatum could change one thing in the world, she would "Create awareness about mental illness." The way she would go about making this change is through education and developing an better understanding of how she and others can help people who are suffering from this illness.
One year from today, Tatum would like to be happy and backpack across Europe.
If Tatum's life were a movie it would be about experience every day and every moment of her life. The title of her movie would be called "Receiving Life."
I met Tatum and her friend Nicole as they were walking along the beach at sunset taking pictures with a classic Canon analog camera.
Tatum is just starting out as a photographer and loves taking pictures of people. Her friend Nicole was her model and they were using the colorful sky as a backdrop for their photo shoot.
When I asked Tatum to come around to the front of the camera, she was a little shy and uncomfortable. After a few minutes she relaxed and her smile was beaming like the sun setting over her shoulder. Originally I was taking a profile shot while she was looking out at the sunset but it wasn't working, so Tatum took control and looked at the camera with her back to the sun and voila, we got the shot!
I think Tatum has a future in photography either behind the camera or in front of it.
