Day 36 of 365 "Settled"

Meet Ron from Canada.

The one word that best describes Ron's life today is "Settled."

If Ron could change one thing in the world, he would "want there to be more effective communication where there were no presuppositions or judgements." The way he would make this change is to seek first to understand before seeking to be understood.

One year from today, Ron would like to have a rich and rewarding relationship that communicates love and trust with his young son Leif Artimus.

If Ron's life were a movie it would be about a man who has a passion for authenticity in relationships and communication.

Ron was visiting Laguna Beach with his son Leif Artimus (I love this name), and was kicking back on the beach while watching Leif play on the seashore.  I enjoyed my lunchtime conversation with Ron as we engaged in meaningful conversation about authentic communication. 

This scene with father and son reminded me of an old television show called "The Courtship of Eddie's Father."  I was brought back to the days when my son was this age playing along the ocean's edge while delighting in him.  I can appreciate the carefree timelessness Ron and Leif Artimus were sharing.
