The one word that best describes Rick's life today is "Beautiful."
If Rick could change one thing in the world, he would "change peoples perceptions of the arts." The way he would go about making this change is to organize a music festival where great music meets a great cause.
One year from today, Rick would like for the Blue Water Music Festival to be the most positive event in the history of Orange County. It will be a new and more powerful and more effective music/arts based fundraising formula for Southern California communities and beyond.
If Rick's life were a movie, it would be about how the Blue Water Music Festival helped establish a new, more effective community-based, fundraising model.
I ran into Rick this morning while he was putting up posters and promoting the upcoming Blue Water Music Festival on March 29-30, 2014 at the World Famous Sawdust Art Festival Grounds.
Rick is a music producer, promoter, radio talk show host on Laguna's only FM radio station 93.5, and community organizer. Rick is the founder of Blue Water Green Earth, a nonprofit organization activating the power of music and the arts for the benefit of the community, the Blue Water Music Festival, and the One Love Reggae Festival.
When it comes to connecting the community to the arts, Rick is the man!
I am supportive of Rick's efforts and love to see how he is living out his passions with purpose. If you love great music, great food, the arts and want to be part of movement of creatives who are wanting to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others check out the Blue Water Music Festival.
If you have questions or want to meet Rick, you can reach him at email@example.com. We hope to see you all at the festival at the end of the month.
