Day 93 of 365 "Aristocrat Artist"

Meet Don from Costa Mesa, CA.

The one word that best describes Don's life today is "Change."

If Don could change one thing in his life, he would want his art to provide a living that would allow him to change his circumstances.  The way he is making this change is by working with an art teacher who is drawing out the talent within.

One year from today, Don would like for his California landscape paintings and wood carvings to be sought after by art enthusiasts from around the globe.

If Don's life were a movie it would be about his unique talent as an artist who has persevered through the challenging years as an artist who followed his passion and dream to create art and be rewarded and recognized as a brilliant artist.

We met Don and his art teacher and friends tonight as we were all enjoying "First Thursday Art Walk."  When I first saw Don, I knew he would have a great story because of his great style.

Don is carrying his custom made, hand carved cane.  He showed me pictures of his carvings and his colorful California landscape paintings.  He is incredibly talented!

I'm intrigued by craftsmen like Don, who whittle with precision.  You can tell that Don is passionate about his work and puts his heart and soul into every piece.
