Meet sisters Lauren and Lisa from Orange, CA.

The one word that best describes Lauren's life today is "Free-Spirited."
The one word that best describes Lisa's life today is "Change."

If Lauren and Lisa could change one thing in the world, they would "create a community of women and bring awareness to the issue of self acceptance and self confidence."  They would want to help women see they are beautiful just the way they are.

One year from today, Lauren will have just turned 30 years old.  She would like for this next year to be about inspiring other entrepreneurs to follow their passion and their dreams.  Her hope would be that other business owners would come together and share what they are learning.

One year from today, Lisa would like for her business to have doubled in revenue and in team members.  She would like for her line of jewelry to be recognized as one of the most sought after lines in OC and LA..

If Lauren's life were a movie, it would be about the hustle and bustle life she lives as an entrepreneur. The title of her movie would be called "It's Complicated."  Lauren's life in her business is very predictable, her life outside of business is complicated.

If Lisa's life were a movie it would be about staying true to her own unique style as she designs cutting edge jewelry.  Her movie would include how she quit her day job to pursue her dream job full time.  The title of her movie would be called "Living The Dream."

Lauren and Lisa were sitting next to us on the beach at Oak St..  We commented on their matching swimsuits and thought they were swimsuit designers.  No, they are not swimsuit designers but they are sisters and are entrepreneurs in the fashion industry.

Lauren is the owner of
The Hidden Jewel Boutique in Costa Mesa.  We were not too far off with our guess, she may not be a swimsuit designer but she's got style and sells her style to women who shop at her boutique in Costa Mesa.

Lisa designs a line of jewelry called
St. Eve Jewelry named after her husband Steve.  Her line of jewelry is is an eclectic style of modern, edgy and bohemian pieces.

These creative, entrepreneur fashionista's are not only talented, they are socially aware of the needs of others and are passionate about tackling the tough issues women face as well as wanting inspire and help other entrepreneurs pursue their passions.

Our conversation left me wondering how many other female business owners have the creativity, the drive, and the ambition to succeed combined with a selflessness and willingness to come alongside others to help  them on their journey.

My eyes have been opened to a whole new world of business that I'm excited to learn more about.  I think we can all learn something from these women!
